Barbara Jones
Acting Principal

Ms. Jones is a seasoned educational leader with over 42 years of experience in K–12 education. Her career spans classroom instruction, campus leadership, and district-level consulting. Her administrative experience includes serving as an elementary principal, assistant principal, and principal.

She has been at Florence Hill this school year in a supporting role, which will allow for a smooth transition into the Acting Principal position.

The application to apply for the Florence Hill Principal position will open on Monday, April 6, 2026. Meetings to gather feedback on the characteristics that will be most valuable in the next leader of Florence Hill will be held with staff during the week of April 13-17, 2026. Likewise, a survey will be sent to all parents on April 13, 2026, to gather feedback as well.
